Terms of service
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These terms
These terms apply when you use Scibly, a service that searches and answers from the documents, mail and calendars you connect to it. By signing in, you accept them. Questions go to team@scibly.com.
Your account
Sign in with an account that is yours, and keep it secure. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace, including whom you invite to it.
Your content
What you connect stays yours. You allow us to read, store and process it only as far as needed to provide Scibly to you, as our privacy policy describes. Connect only sources you are entitled to share with Scibly.
Fair use
Do not use Scibly to break the law, to access data you have no right to, to attack or overload the service, or to resell it without our consent.
Beta
Scibly is in beta. Features may change, and the service may be unavailable at times. Answers are generated by AI and may be wrong: check what matters against the cited sources.
Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential obligation, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise our liability is excluded.
Ending
You may stop using Scibly at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access that breaks these terms, and may end the beta with reasonable notice.
Changes and law
We may change these terms and will tell you of material changes in advance. German law applies, without the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; mandatory consumer protection where you live is unaffected.
